
Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent
Reports to: Director of Commercial Service Operations
Summary:
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent is responsible for providing assistance to Producers in the handling and processing of new and renewal Commercial Lines accounts. In addition, the CSA with provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
The position will entail: work with Producers on new and renewal business. This is including, but not limited to, marketing, change processing, and billing. The CSA is responsible for checking the accuracy of information sent to carriers and customers as well as making sure all correspondences are sent in a timely fashion. In addition the CSA will be responsible for providing in-house reception for clients either via the phone or face to face and routing appropriately.
The ideal candidate for a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent has the following:
- Must be high school graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Currently hold an Indiana Property & Casualty insurance license or can earn within thirty days.
- Must have excellent customer service abilities.
- Must be dependable, detail oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft products specifically Word and Excel.
